Bangladesh Education Board
Bangladesh Education Board was established in 1921 under the British Government rules. Its name was the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Dhaka at that time. Studying was not so easy at that time. Though the board tried so hard to provide the best education services to the students who wanted to study. After the independence of India from
British, in 1947 the name of this board again changed to East Bengal Secondary Education Board in 1955. The board was under the University of Dhaka but in 1961 the board got the independent authority to provide education services independently within their own ordinance. Now After the independence of Bangladesh, the board is now divided into 11
individual education Board. We’ll discuss about them later in this post. These eleven education boards are holding different public examinations under the Ministry of Education of Bangladesh.
Bangladesh Education Board Results
Education Board Results are being published by the individual education board but the central hub of the Education Ministry also publishes the results for all public examinations. There are three public examinations are taking place under the Education Board of Bangladesh. JSC, SSC, and HSC are those public examinations that the boards are holding every year.

The full form of JSC is Junior School Certificate. The nine general education boards individually hold the board exam known as the JSC Board exam. In 2022 there are more than 22.77 Lacs students participate in JSC Board Examination.
JDC Board Examination
The full form of JDC is Junior Dakhil Certificate. The Madrasah Boards solely holds the board exams known as JDC Board Examination. Under this single board of the Madrasah Education Board students from all over the country are participating in JDC Board Exam every year. In 2022 there is more than 4.07 Lacs students participate in the JDC Board Examination.
SSC Board Examination
The full form of SSC is Secondary School Certificate. The nine general boards individually hold the board exams known as SSC Board Exam previously known as Matriculation also. Under these nine independent education boards students from all over the country participating in SSC Board Examination every year. In 2022 there are 16.70 Lacs students participate in SSC Board Examination.
Dakhil Board Examination
Dakhil is the equivalent certificate exam of SSC. Under the Madrasah Education Board, students of different Madrasah from all over the country participate in Dakhil Board Examination. In 2022 there are 2.95 Lacs students participates in Dakhil Board Examination.
Vocational (SSC) Board Examination
Under Technical Education Board students who are unprivileged are participating in board exam known as the Vocational Board Exam. There is only one education board for them which is Bangladesh Technical Education Board. In 2022 there are 1.15 Lacs students participates in Vocational Board Examination under Bangladesh Technical Education Board.
HSC Board Examination
The full form of HSC is Higher Secondary School Certificate. The nine general boards are solely responsible to hold the HSC Board Examinations for students who are eligible to sit for the HSC exam. Under every board, there are many colleges from where students sit for the exam every year. In 2022 there are 11.35 Lacs students participates in HSC Board Examination.
Alim Board Examination
The equivalent of the HSC Board exam Madrasah Education Board has an education system known as Alim Board Examination. From different madrasah all over the country students participating in the Alim board examination under Madrasah Education Board. In 2022 there are 1.35 Lacs students participates in Alim Board Examination.
Vocational (HSC) Board Examination
There is an HSC equivalent education system for underprivileged students under the technical education board. There are many students who are participating in vocational HSC examination every year. In 2022 there are 1.55 Lacs students participates in Vocational (HSC) Board Examination.
